Our Track and Field stars absolutely crushed it on the state stage this weekend at the NYS Championships at Webster-Schroeder High School! Amie Valentine represented Section 3 as its fastest 400m runner, finishing 11th in New York State with a spectacular personal and season-best time of 58.58 seconds. She will be taking her talents to SUNY Cortland this fall to run for the Red Dragons.
Meanwhile, Ny'Ashia Linen wrapped up her historic career as the most decorated student-athlete in Proctor High School history with an unforgettable weekend. Ny'Ashia captured two state titles, winning first place in both the wheelchair discus (25' 10") and wheelchair shot put (11' 2.25"), alongside a dominant second-place finish in the wheelchair 100m (29.35s). She is headed to the University at Albany this fall to continue her incredible athletic career with the Great Danes.
